"The Powder Wrap"

I LOVE designs by Casapinka! They are fun to make and you are always learning a new stitch! The "Powder Wrap" is an asymmetric triangle that is a large, mesmerizing wrap to knit. The three sections repeat throughout until the last part where you do some increases and work cables. There are video links in the pattern for doing the cables without a cable needle and also a beginner’s alternative in case you don’t wish to cable at all. Yay!
The wrap can be made in either worsted or fingering weight yarn – you choose! For the worsted weight, we recommend Malabrigo Rios, Cascade 220 Superwash Merino, Jupiter Moon Farms Moonshine, or Plymouth Encore Worsted. The fingering weight yarns we recommend for this wrap include Malabrigo Sock, Manos del Uruguay Alegria, or Dream in Color Smooshy Sock. "The Secret Life of Cats (and dogz)" by Casapinka

What FUN!! Casapinka's December 2020 KAL required wanting to have FUN knitting and 4 skeins of fingering weight yarn.
The goal to completing this project is to knit just one section per day with a glass of wine or hot apple cider in hand. ;-) This is a rectangular shawl made of 25 sections, with directions to make it an infinity cowl or a scarf with flared ends. The project is knit on US 6 needles. Beginners are welcome!

"Little Lulu" Sweater by Casapinka
"Little Lulu" is like a pretty sweatshirt that you knit. This delightful pattern by Casapinka is designed to be worn with 4-8 inches of positive ease so you can wear it with yoga pants or jeans. "Little Lulu" is knit in the round from the bottom up with the eyelet pattern in front and back.
Little Lulu is designed to be worn with 4-8” / 10-20.5 cm of positive ease; pick the size that is closest between 4 and 8” / 10 and 20.5 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. If you fall between sizes, it’s best to go down a size. Shown in Size 2 with 6” positive ease. If you wish to make it longer you will want to buy a bit more yarn.
We have chosen Rowan "Moordale" DK for you to use for this sweater. The picture shows me in the "Little Lulu" I made using Moordale in the Beetroot color. The yarn was great to work with and is so very warm! I can help you with this sweater if you'd like to make it! :-) Vickie

"Hug Shot" by Casapinka
The "Hug Shot" assymetric shawl was supposed to be in honor of International Hug Your Pet Weekend (a made up holiday by Sharon – Casapinka's Cat – From Security). If you don’t know who that is, you might want to walk away now. Things are not always professional, but they are lighthearted. Sharon does, indeed, allow dogs to participate in this holiday weekend. This is a very straightforward, easy to knit shawl. I REALLY enjoyed making mine
This shawl requires 2 contrasting skeins of fingering weight yarn, approximately 380 yds of each color. I chose 2 of my favorite colors – Red & Blue!
